Savvy

Savvy is a productivity tool and content platform designed for self-learners. We aim to make the self-learning journey more efficient and motivated by helping users save and organise learning resources. Through our A.I recommendation system, users can also discover quality resources that have been saved and rated by users who are also learning the same subject.

Self-learners are different from school-learners. They are self-paced so they often forget to finish their saved resources. We address this pain point by making the self-learning process more rewarding through progress visualisation, automatic scheduling, and reminder function. The niche market of self-learning productivity tools is severely underserved, so our idea would be disruptive to the current ways how self-learners manage their learning progress. Our data-driven recommendation system also provides a more reliable way to discover online self-learning content, compared to just typing ‘how to become a UX designer in 6 months’ on google for some advertised result.”

Savvy是為自學者而設的應用程式，用家可一鍵儲存網上自學資源，配合自動整理、排期、提醒功能，讓自學過程更高效，更鼓舞。Savvy亦會為用家推薦自學資源，皆因系統會從資料庫配對用家，尋找背景相似的自學者並將其閱讀清單推薦給彼此。
