FritzBot

Building physical computing systems can be challenging for beginners, as it requires selecting appropriate components, designing circuits, and programming microcontrollers. Existing automated tools still expect users to have some technical knowledge. To address this gap, researchers have developed FritzBot – a data-driven chatbot that can guide novice users through the process of assembling computing systems using natural language interaction. This makes physical computing more accessible for beginners in maker spaces, STEM education, product design, and other areas where hands-on experience is valuable.

從頭構建實體運算系統對初學者而言是一大挑戰,因為這需要選擇合適的電子元件、設計電路,以及為微控制器編程。現有的自動化工具仍然要求使用者具備一定的技術知識。為了解決這一缺口,團隊開發了 FritzBot – 一款數據驅動的聊天機器人,可以通過自然語言交互的方式,引導初學者完成組裝運算系統的過程。這使得在創客空間、STEM 教育、產品設計等需要動手實踐的領域,實體運算變得更加易於初學者接近。
